    students and staff revealing our new book vending machine

    West students are excited to finally discover what was under that wrapped present. The revealing of the Book Vending Machine was a huge hit!!! The top AR readers were the first to receive a coin to "purchase" a new book.

    The Mission of West Elementary School is to provide a superior educational experience where students succeed academically, physically, and socially while developing an appreciation for the arts, a responsibility for our community, and respect for our country.

    Vision Statement:  Every student a learner, Every student prepared

    The West Elementary School Community has established that we are experiencing success together when we are:
    Increasing Academic Proficiency 
    Developing Social Competency
    Promoting Healthy Lifestyles
    Practicing Good Citizenship
    Fostering an Appreciation of the Fine Arts
    Building Relationships Between School, Home, and Community
    Providing a Positive Learning Environment

    These purposes will serve as the focus for planning and assessing school performance. Accomplishment of these purposes will guide allocations of time and resources.
