Superintendent Position Filled

With the retirement of Dr. Susan Patterson scheduled for July 1st, the Cullman City School Board set out for find a fitting replacement. That search ended Thursday, January 28th with the selection of Kyle Kallhoff as her successor.

Kyle Kallhoff has been a School Superintendent in Alabama for 8 ½ years. Since 2015, he has served as the superintendent of the Demopolis City School System. Prior to Demopolis, he was the inaugural superintendent and first employee of the Chickasaw City School System in Mobile County.

He began his career in education at Satsuma High School in 1997 as a classroom teacher. After seven years at Satsuma High School, he pursued a career in educational administration and achieved a number of administration positions such as Middle School Administrator, School Improvement Specialist, Director of Instruction, and Assistant Superintendent in two different school systems.

In 1999, Kyle married his best friend and fellow educator, Kristina Kallhoff. God has blessed Kyle and Kristina with four wonderful children. Although his profession is important to him, his faith, wife, and children are his three top priorities in life.
