A Message from the Mrs. Tricia Culpepper, Principal
Dear CCPS Families and Friends,
It is difficult to understand the situation that we are all facing, but we want to reassure our families that we stand with you during this time. Our teachers and staff are committed to ensuring that learning will still occur remotely. Every classroom teacher will post a weekly newsletter with the instructional focus on reading, math and writing. Classroom teachers are using various platforms to stay in touch with their families. These include weekly videos, slideshows with teacher voice overs and powerpoints. CCPS teachers have been so creative in finding engaging methods to teach virtually. We are suggesting that you work with your student one hour per day. If you have more time to dedicate to instruction, that is wonderful!
We have various forms of communication through social media. You can access us through twitter @cullmanprimary, on our Cullman City Primary School PTO Facebook page, on instagram: cullman_city_primary_school. Social media will be the platform that we will use to communicate to you about various resource communities and also highlight the GREAT things parents, teachers are doing as we learn to navigate virtual learning. Our nurse, Kalysha Whittle and counselor, Jennifer Sparkman, will be available through email for any questions that you may have during this time.
I have never been more proud to be part of Cullman City Primary School. Our teachers are coming up with new ways daily to make sure instruction is available for your student. They are a team that is unsurpassed. If I can be of any help, please contact me at tculpepper@cullmancats.net.
