General Registration Information for All Students
If you are the parent/legal guardian of a student that is in-district (or approved as an out-of-district enrollee) for CCS, you should receive a registration code from the appropriate school that will allow you to complete the PowerSchool Registration process. This code is required.

During the school year, questions about Non-Resident availability and enrollment should be directed to the principal at the individual school.

Once you have contacted the principal, he/she will put you in contact with the school's registrar and you will be given additional information about the registration process.
Non-Resident Student Phased Tuition Increase
(Board Approved May 18, 2021)
- Tuition for non-resident families with 5 or more children enrolled in the Cullman City School System will be capped at $5,0000.00 per year.
- Non-resident enrollment is based on grade-level and program capacity.
- Residency verifications will be conducted periodically.
- It is imperative that address changes and any contact changes are submitted to the school as soon as possible.
- Non-resident students may be unenrolled at the end of grading periods due to attendance/truancy, academic progress, discipline, or falsifying residency information.
Payment will be accepted starting at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, 2023.
Payment is due in FULL by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 for a 10% discount (Single $900.00, Household Sibling 1 $900.00, etc.), or by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 31, 2023 with no discount.
Failure to pay by 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023 may result in your child(ren) being automatically withdrawn from Cullman City Schools.
Please do not submit payment until your enrollment has been approved.

Required Documents for CCPS Registration
The following documents are needed for CCPS registration:
1. Original Birth Certificate (preferred but not required).
A copy will be made and the original returned to you.
Alabama residents may obtain copies at the Cullman County Health Department.
2. Original Social Security Card (preferred but not required).
A copy will be made and the original returned to you.
3. Current Alabama Immunization Record (blue card).
State Dept. requires schools to have the original on file.
4. Two Proofs of Residency (for in-district registration);
Two (2) documents must be presented as proof of legal residence:
a. current Home Ownership Title or a Lease/Rent Agreement
(for 9 months); and
b. utility bill (electric bill, water bill, etc.…).
5. Parent/Legal Guardian Driver License (preferred but not required).
6. Any custody documents (if applicable). -
Residency Requirements
The enrollment of students is subject to Cullman City School System Board Policy V1(v) regarding residency which provides that parents of children enrolled in the Cullman City School System have a continuing duty to inform the school system if they move out of the City of Cullman. If parents inform the school system within 15 days of moving and pay the pro-rated out-of-district fees for their children, they will be allowed to continue as students in the system. If the school system is not informed of the move within 15 days then the child is subject to withdrawal from the system.
