My name is Marcia Stringer. I have been teaching at CCHS for 12 years and I am so blessed to be the CCHS Pre-K Teacher in the Sunshine Class this year. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from Athens State University and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood from Wallace State Community College. I am currently working on my Master's Degree at the University of Alabama Birmingham. I am married and have two children, Tyler and Hannah. In my free time I like reading and spending time with my family and my pets; 4 dogs: Beau, Peanut, Belle, Bear; 1 cat: Gracie. It is a joy to work with children as they experience school for the first time. I enjoy watching my students grow and learn from the beginning to the end. It is my goal to set them up for success and help lay the foundation and give them a head start to become lifelong learners. I am committed to forming a relationship with your child in partnership with you built upon the foundation of love, trust, and respect. My favorite thing about teaching is seeing that smile and connection when I have helped a child with learning something new. I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be part of these precious children's lives. I am looking forward to a great year!
