Born and raised in Eufaula, AL, I have made a northern trek across Alabama finally finding home here in Cullman at East Elementary School. I was educated at Auburn University earning my Bachelor's, Master's and Educational Specialist degrees in Education. My wife, Christine, and I are blessed with two adorable daughters, Ellie and Cora. We attend St. John's Church as a family.
My educational philosophy is simple: "Do whatever it takes." I believe that every child is special, that every child is valuable and that every child will be successful. The job and calling of an educator is to give every child special attention, to value every child as an individual and to insure that every child is successful. I know that not every child is going to be a mathematician or scholar, but I work to insure that every child is of good character, equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary for life-long success.
East Elementary School belongs to each of us as stakeholders. It is only together that we can reach our potential as a highly effective elementary school. It is only together that each child will reach his or her potential as a future citizen. We have a vision of ONE VOICE. Our one voice must be of support, of collaboration, of understanding and of dedication. Our voice must be consistent at all times in all places.
