Grading Parameters
Grading Parameters
Cullman City Schools has developed grading parameters to assign grades in Reading, English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies for grades 2 - 8.
This system will help teachers communicate students’ grades to parents and increase parents’ awareness of how their child is being assessed. Students will be graded on specific categories in each subject area, with a minimum number of grade entries given in each subject. Each category is also given a specific weight. These weights have been assigned by a team of teachers and are based on the proportion of class time devoted to each category.
