Mrs. Kim Hall, Principal
Kim Hall is a graduate of Cullman High School (1989). She earned her bachelor’s degree from Athens University in Elementary Education (1994). She earned a master’s in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Alabama (1999). Mrs. Hall obtained her Educational Specialist Degree from the University of North Alabama. Mrs. Hall has been an educator in the Cullman City Schools for 25 years. During that time Mrs. Hall gained experience as an instructional paraprofessional, Cullman Middle School teacher, and West Elementary School classroom teacher and intervention teacher. Mrs. Hall worked as Reading Coach and Curriculum Specialist at West Elementary for seven years before accepting the position of Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs at Cullman High School in 2011. Mrs. Hall served as Cullman High School Assistant Principal for five years before beginning her time as Principal of CHS.
Mrs. Hall is married to Mark Hall. They have two children. Their son Landry is a firefighter with Cullman City Fire and Rescue. Daughter Hadley is married to Jack Turner. They are both employed at UAB and attending graduate school.
Mr. Mark Stephens, Assistant Principal of Student Affairs & Athletic Director
Mr. Stephens is entering his 19th year as an educator and his 5th year as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Cullman High School. He is a 1994 Graduate at Cullman High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Athens State University in 2000, his Master of Arts in Exercise Science University of Alabama 2003, Master of Arts in Educational Leadership University of Alabama at Birmingham 2014, and his Ed.S. in Instructional Leadership at The University of West Alabama 2016.
Mr. Stephens has spent the majority of his career serving as a Teacher/Assistant Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator: at Holt High School 2000-2003, Bob Jones High School 2003-2004, Paul Bryant High School 2004-2005, Cullman High School 2005-2008, Spain Park High School 2008-2010, and Hueytown High School 2010-2013. He was appointed Athletic Director and Head Football Coach at Hueytown High School 2013-2014.
Mr. Stephens is married to the former Katrina Iacobelli also a graduate of Cullman High School. They have two children John Mark and Annabelle who are students in Cullman City Schools.

Aaron Sparks, Assistant Principal of Student Affairs
Aaron Sparks is entering his 19th year as an educator and is a 1993 Graduate at Cullman High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Athens State University in 1999, his master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from University of Alabama in 2005. Mr. Sparks also earned his Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Leadership at The University of West Alabama.
Mr. Sparks began teaching and coaching for Cullman City Schools in 2000 before moving to Cullman High School in 2004. In 2012, Mr. Sparks became the administrator at the Cullman Alternative School. In addition to teaching social science, he has served as an assistant football coach, assistant baseball coach, assistant soccer coach, and head softball coach for Cullman City Schools.
Mr. Sparks is the proud father of three girls. Twins, Harper and Parker, and Lily Katherine are students in Cullman City Schools.
Mrs. Allison Tuggle, Assistant Principal of Academic AffairsMrs. Tuggle serves as the Assistant Principal of Academic Affairs as well as the grade level AP for the Class of 2020 and Class of 2022. Mrs. Tuggle has 17 years experience in education. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Mrs. Tuggle is a National Board Certified Teacher specializing in the area of Literacy. She has coordinated and attended Ron Clarke Academy professional development and is a trainer in Google Classroom PD.Mrs. Tuggle’s first priority at CHS will be to focus on Academic Achievement and Academic Growth as reported on the ALSDE state report card in the area of Reading. In addition, she will be focusing on our Accreditation Continuous Improvement Plan, ELEOT training, as well as our plan for PST and RTI interventions for struggling readers.
