Each Tuesday during the month of June, a week’s worth of free meals will be provided for school-aged children at the Cullman County Child Development Center. Residents can pick up five frozen breakfasts, five frozen lunches, vegetables, fruit, one gallon of milk and a half-gallon of orange juice. Children do not have to be students of the Child Development Center; any school-aged child is welcome to participate.
The program starts Tuesday, June 6, at 10 a.m. and will go until noon, or until supplies run out. Pickups are first come, first served.
Pickups will take place at 10 a.m. June 13, 20 and 27. The Cullman County Child Development Center is located at 17600 U.S. Highway 31 N. For more information, call 256-734-7789.
