COVID procedures:
Stay home if sick and notify the school nurse
Contact healthcare provider and follow recommendations
Days 0 - 5, stay home if positive (Day 0 = first day of symptoms
OR
positive test (if asymptomatic)
Day 6, return to school
IF
fever-free for 24 hour without use of medication
AND
symptoms are better
Days 6 - 10,
recommended
wearing a face mask when returning to school
Additional COVID guidance
if you have been exposed:
No quarantine - You do not need to stay home unless you develop symptoms
Watch for symptoms for 10 days after last exposure
Recommended
wearing a face mask for 10 full days
Recommended
getting tested after at least 5 days from last exposure
If you develop symptoms, stay home
AND
follow above procedure
COVID symptoms:
Fever or chills
Cough
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue
Muscle or body aches
Headache
New loss of taste or smell
Sore throat
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
Diarrhea
