  • 2022 - 2023 COVID Guidelines

    COVID procedures:

    • Stay home if sick and notify the school nurse
    • Contact healthcare provider and follow recommendations
    • Days 0 - 5, stay home if positive (Day 0 = first day of symptoms OR positive test (if asymptomatic)
    • Day 6, return to school IF fever-free for 24 hour without use of medication ANDsymptoms are better
    • Days 6 - 10, recommended wearing a face mask when returning to school
    Additional COVID guidance if you have been exposed:
    • No quarantine - You do not need to stay home unless you develop symptoms
    • Watch for symptoms for 10 days after last exposure
    • Recommended wearing a face mask for 10 full days
    • Recommended getting tested after at least 5 days from last exposure
    • If you develop symptoms, stay home AND follow above procedure
    COVID symptoms:
    • Fever or chills
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fatigue
    • Muscle or body aches
    • Headache
    • New loss of taste or smell
    • Sore throat
    • Congestion or runny nose
    • Nausea or vomiting
    • Diarrhea
