  • Summer Meal Pick-up Day: Every Tuesday

    Any child who is 18 and under can participate. Children do not have to attend Cullman City Schools and children do not have to be school age. 

    Pick up locations: Cullman High (200 meal kits available) and West Elementary (300 meal kits available)

    Pick up time: 10:30-12:30 

    Each child will receive 7 breakfast meals & 7 lunch meals.

    Children must be in the vehicle in order for you to receive meals for them.

Welcome to Cullman City Head Start

  • The mission of Cullman City Head Start is to offer eligible children and the families of this community the quality guidance and services they need to reach their highest potential of social competence that allows them to be successful in school and in life.


    Cullman City Head Start has been serving the families of Cullman City for over 49 years. The Cullman program began in 1965 at St. John’s Church. Cullman City Head Start operates under the umbrella of Cullman City Schools. Over the years, the Head Start staff has diligently served our families and students. Cullman City Head Start has a funded enrollment of 94 students.

    Cullman City Head Start has a dedicated staff committed to serving the needs of our students and families. Community support has been crucial in providing a productive partnership for our Head Start families. The staff, community and families work together to achieve an outstanding program, which will continue to impact families and children for years to come.
