Welcome to a wonderful new year at West Elementary! I am thrilled and honored to be your child’s fifth grade Social Studies teacher! This is my 20th year to teach! I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from UNA in Florence, AL. I am in the Army National Guard, Field Artillary, as well as a Crossfit L-1 Trainer. I have taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. My passion is teaching and learning from children each day. In my spare time I love to spend time with my son, travel, read, study about artillary, and exercise. My favorite activity/hobby is Crossfit. 

I am blessed with one child. Brody, my son, is 13 and attends Cullman Middle School. I am looking forward to a fantastic year with your child! Each child becomes like my own since we spend many hours together at school. Please always feel free to contact me if you need anything. WEST IS BEST!
