Welcome to the CCPS Music Department! I am glad you are here.

The Alabama Course of Study for Arts Education states, "Music at all levels of education is as integral to the overall learning process as are the studies of other academic areas. This is especially true in Kindergarten and other early elementary grades. The music classroom provides opportunities for students to gain success through activities that are enjoyable as well as educational".
