Cullman City Schools is one of 132 school districts in the state of Alabama. Cullman is located just east of the intersection of Interstate 65 and US Highway 278 about halfway between Huntsville and Birmingham. The city of Cullman has been selected by Bloomberg Businessweek as one of the best places in Alabama to raise children. Cullman has also been ranked the second highest micropolitan in the nation for the past two years, according to Site Selection Magazine.
The school system has over 3,000 students in five schools. The schools are Cullman High School (Grades 9-12), Cullman Middle School (Grades 7-8), East Elementary School (Grades 2-6), West Elementary School (Grades 2-6), and Cullman City Primary School (Grades K-1). EVA ROAD CLOSING: Eva Road will be closed beginning November 5, 2018, for an undetermined amount of time for repairs to the bridge across Bridge Creek. From Forrest Avenue NE to Scenic Drive NE, the road will be closed to ALL traffic. Only local traffic will be permitted from AL 157 to Forrest Avenue, and from 13th Street to Scenic Drive. CHS and CCPS Traffic: School traffic from the south will be unaffected by this road closing. From the north, high school and primary school traffic
Cullman City Schools will soon begin using Peachjar. Peachjar will provide digital flyers to parents with important information about afterschool & school-related activities. Cullman City Board of Education was recently recognized with a PALS Beautification Award. These awards are presented to locations as a part of the Alabama Clean Campus Program. We are so proud of our maintenance department who assist in keeping our location beautiful.

New SMART Interactive Panels will be installed in many EES, WES and CCPS classrooms beginning today. This will continue our recent effort to transition from our aging SMART Interactive Whiteboards, many of which are nearing end of life, to a new interactive panel format. Acquisition of these new interactive panels is possible, in part, by the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) Grant.
